Nusa Sarjana is a men’s Dikir Barat group composed of NTU-NIE students. They are the first dikir barat group at the University level to participate in inter-schools competition, Piala Suara Serumpun, where they won fourth place out of thirteen groups in 2019. They have been actively participating in various performances both internally and externally over the years. These performances include Perbayu’s Annual Welcome Tea, Rentas Pantas, Rentak Budaya, Freshmen Orientation Programme and Malam Sastera Perbayu.

 

They have also collaborated with dikir barat teams from other universities such as NUS, SMU and SIM for a performance for ERTI V4rsiti as well as performed for a Racial Harmony Show, which is an external invitation

Other than participating in competitions and performances, they have collaborated with Dewi Samudera, NTU-NIE’s women’s Dikir Barat team, and conducted a Dikir Barat workshop for not only fellow students, but also opened to all youths.
