Date   : Wednesday, 17 Feb 2021

Venue : NIE Chemistry lab 3 (Block 7A-Basement 2-Room 10)

With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, club Sci·Napse have taken a step forward to create a safer environment in NIE. Introducing, the hand sanitiser workshop. This workshop aims to promote good hygiene amongst participants by educating them on the science behind hand sanitisers and how they can make hand sanitisers themselves.

Furthermore, this workshop uses cheap and accessible ingredients in the making of hand sanitisers. With the knowledge taught in this workshop, the participants can then use these cheap and accessible ingredients to make their own hand sanitisers. From this workshop, participants also get to choose from a range of fragrance oil, such as lavender and cinnamon, to give their hand sanitisers a pleasant scent.

Here, we have the secret recipe for making your very own hand sanitiser.
