STEM Hackathon @ NIE
Date : 20th March 2021
Venue : LT1 & UiD
The STEM Hackathon is the first ever joint project with meriSTEM@NIE. This project involves all student teachers with Science or/and Mathematics as their first academic subject (AS1). This event serves as a platform for student-teachers from different STEM disciplines to share, exchange and integrate their knowledge and skills in the STEM field to solve an authentic real-world problem presented to them.

In groups of 3-4, participants are to use coke cans and the materials provided at the stations to create a sustainable instant cooler that will lower the temperature of the contents inside the can.
Prizes were given out to the groups that were able to lower the temperature of the Coke the most within 2 min and the Coke with the lowest temperature after 10 min!
